However, now our ability to pinpoint a target in a crowded scene is seriously being tested with a photo that’s just popped up.
“Find the copperhead,” the caption instructs. The poster adds:
“PSA: don’t kill copperheads, they’re just vibing. Politely relocate them; they appreciate not being turned into ‘snake bites.'”
Alright, give it a shot and see if you can spot the snake:
A copperhead is a relatively small venomous snake native to North America, commonly found in wooded areas.
Fortunately, while its venom isn’t typically fatal to humans, the downside is that a bite can still be incredibly painful.
From the image above, you can see they have an excellent ability to blend into leafy environments, making them tough to spot.
Unfortunately, many people are finding it challenging to locate the elusive snake.
“Until I joined this sub I’d only ever seen pictures of snakes in books surrounded by a stark white background but seeing it really work.
An experienced ‘snake sniper’ from the south remarked, “Living in the south my whole life… super easy. Lol but they’re great at camouflaging.”
Without further ado, one sharp-eyed individual pointed out that the copperhead is hiding in the ‘bottom left-hand corner’.
“But you gotta keep your eyes sharp! He’s almost completely hidden!” they added.
“Thank you ZOOM, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have been able to spot the snake. My actual eyes; take note.”
