Amanda Bynes Joins OnlyFans And Opens Up About Her Purpose On The Platform

Amanda Bynes has announced that she’s joined OnlyFans and opened up about what kind of content she plans to share on the platform.

The 39-year-old actor has gone through quite a journey in recent years, especially after her conservatorship with her mother came to an end back in March 2022.

Known for her roles in films like She’s The Man, Bynes was placed under a conservatorship in 2013 due to long-standing struggles with her mental health.

Although her path has had some rough patches over the years, Amanda Bynes has been slowly but surely turning things around. She’s been working on herself and is now stepping into something new and different.

Just this past Tuesday (April 15), she shared with her followers that she’s officially launched an OnlyFans account. But unlike what some might expect, she won’t be posting anything explicit like many others do on the platform.

Instead, the former child star took to her social channels to explain what her page is really about and what fans can look forward to.

“I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through dm’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join,” Bynes wrote on her Instagram Story.

At the moment, she’s offering access to her OnlyFans for $50 per month. By joining the site, she’s following in the footsteps of big names like Cardi B and Tyler Posey who’ve also used the platform to connect with fans in their own way.

OnlyFans has become a pretty profitable side gig for many celebrities. For instance, reports say Cardi B makes a whopping $46.7 million (£37.1 million) a year, which breaks down to about $1.87 million (£1.4 million) every month.

Amanda Bynes’s conservatorship officially came to an end in 2022. During the court decision, Judge Roger L. Lund stated: “The Capacity Declaration filed 02/22/22 concludes that conservatee has capacity [to] give informed consent to any form of medical treatment.”

“The court determines that the conservatorship is no longer required and that grounds for establishment of a conservatorship of the person no longer exist.”

“The court intends to grant the petition for termination and order the conservatorship of the person of Amanda Bynes be terminated.”

Back then, Bynes took a moment to express how grateful she was to her supporters. She thanked everyone who had shown her love and encouragement throughout the nine years.

Speaking to People, she shared the following statement“Following today’s decision by the judge to terminate my conservatorship, I would like to thank my fans for their love and well wishes during this time.”

“I would also like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their support over the last nine years.”

The actor also hinted at some exciting things ahead, mentioning future plans and her focus on personal growth: “In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.”

“I am excited about my upcoming endeavors — including my fragrance line — and look forward to sharing more when I can.”
