‘Demon Dad’ Surprises Fans With Before-Transformation Photo

He got his nickname because nearly every inch of his body is covered in tattoos and body modifications.

Larry Botello González, who lives in Bogotá, Colombia, started his transformation journey at a very young age.

His first step into the world of body modification came when he got his very first tattoo at just 12 years old.

That was the beginning of what would become a lifelong passion.

By the time he was 17, Larry had already gone through his first major procedure — splitting his tongue into a forked shape.

Today, he works as a tattoo artist and is almost unrecognizable from his younger self. According to Mail Online, Larry has spent more than $22,000 on various body modifications. His extensive list includes 28 subdermal implants, horn implants, and even a reconstructed nose.

He has also undergone several other intense modifications like tongue implants, pigmentation for both his tongue and eyes, scarification, cutting of the ears and nose, and expansion piercings. One of the more unique ones is a technique called braiding, where strips of skin are cut and intertwined so they heal in a braided form.

Even with his extreme appearance, Larry lives a grounded family life.

He is married to Angie Khaterine, and the couple shares a five-year-old daughter named Alice. They also have a pet dog named Thanos.

When it comes to tattoos, Larry says he can’t even give an exact count. That’s because many of his tattoos are layered on top of older ones, creating an ever-evolving canvas on his body.

Speaking about the financial side of his transformation, Larry reflected: “It is a very significant figure I’ve spent on tattoos. I have always generated a good income and the body modifications earned me a lot of money.”

He pointed out that his love for body modification has brought him fulfillment both in his personal life and career.

At the same time, he’s well aware that his unique appearance tends to draw mixed reactions from people in public.

“On social networks, I see bad comments, but that does not affect me,” he shared.

“People call me a demon or son of Satan among other things, but it is really something that does not affect me because I like being seen as a dark being.”

He mentioned that the way his nose is shaped and the horns on his head add to the impression that he looks like a demon. But he’s completely okay with that and embraces his look, adding: “I love seeing myself like that.”

While some might worry about how his dramatic appearance affects his daughter, Larry says that hasn’t been an issue. Alice hasn’t faced any bullying because of how he looks.

“Maybe on the contrary, the other children admire that my daughter has a different father because I am an artist.”

When asked about the physical pain involved in his transformation, Larry admitted that the most intense pain came from the nose procedure.

“The most painful modification was the nose cut because the anesthesia does not work well there.”

He also opened up about the deeper reasons behind his decision to modify his body to such an extent.

“I always wanted to be different, both on the outside and inside,” he said. “There are many human beings who disguise their evil with a pretty face. I think the other way around. I prefer to have a devil’s face and have a lot of light inside me to do good things and be a good human being.”

For those thinking about making similar changes to their body, Larry shared some serious advice and words of caution.

“First of all, they would have to be very sure of what they are doing,” he advised. “You may want to be different, but do not take it lightly since body modification is something very extreme, something for life and there’s no turning back.”

He also talked about how important it is to have a solid financial foundation before taking such a big step.

“We are in a very prejudiced world, so if someone wants to modify their body, they should be clear about what they are going to do with their life to generate income because anyone who is modified cannot apply for a normal job.”

He further explained that anyone going down this path should be financially independent and ideally have a creative talent or run their own business. That way, they can continue earning a living without depending on traditional jobs.

He also emphasized that people should choose this lifestyle for themselves—not just because they want to copy someone else’s look or image.

Even though his appearance is far from typical, Larry says his interactions with other parents have been positive. “The other parents treat me with respect since I respect them, and only on occasion do they speak to me about my tattoos since my personality is very calm and approachable.”

He recently shared some striking photos of himself before he started his transformation. He also posted a video that walks viewers through his journey into body modification.
