JK Rowling has once again drawn attention to her ongoing feud with the stars of the Harry Potter films, months after making it clear that she would ‘never forgive’ Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
Despite working closely together for years as her books were brought to the big screen, actors Radcliffe, Watson, and Rupert Grint have publicly distanced themselves from Rowling due to her controversial views.
Writing on Twitter in 2023, Rowling stated: “I’ll happily do two years if the alternative is compelled speech and forced denial of the reality and importance of sex.”
In response to the backlash, Radcliffe released a public apology to the trans community, acknowledging the harm caused by Rowling’s words. Meanwhile, Watson also voiced her support, reassuring trans people that “so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are”

However, Rowling did not share the same sentiment. She fired back, saying: “Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces.”
Now, it seems the author is once again making her feelings known—not just toward Radcliffe and Watson, but also toward Grint—through a new tweet posted on March 17.

In response, Rowling cryptically replied: “Three guesses. Sorry, but that was irresistible.”
Given that Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint were the iconic trio at the heart of Rowling’s best-selling series, many fans saw this as a thinly veiled reference to them.

One supporter wrote: “Three guesses? 1. The same people who made millions off your work, then turned on you when it was ‘cool’.”
However, a critic shot back with a harsh response: “They ruined the movies for you, but you ruined everything else for everyone else, at least for those with beating hearts.”
