The strained relationship between Musk and his daughter has been no secret. In the past, Musk has made it clear that their bond is fractured, and Vivian has not hesitated to respond in kind.
In her latest statement, Wilson claimed that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO paid for IVF treatment with the intent of ensuring she was born male.
In her post, she stated: “My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold.”
“That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.”
It remains unclear how Vivian reached the conclusion that this was the case in her own conception.
Regardless, her followers were quick to show support, flooding the comments section with messages of encouragement.

A third user commented: “Wait he PAID for you to specifically have XY chromosomes and you still ended up a girl? He makes so many bad business decisions lmao.”
In July of last year, Musk sat down with clinical psychologist and conservative commentator Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, claiming he had been “tricked” into allowing Wilson to undergo transgender-related medical treatment when she was 16.
However, Wilson later issued her own response, firmly stating that her father’s version of events was not true.
“Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”
