Elsa Jean, who launched her career in adult films at 18, rapidly became popular on websites like Pornhub.
While some in the adult entertainment industry are open with their families about their work, Elsa hadn’t shared her career details with her loved ones.
Speaking on the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast in 2023, Elsa, whose real name is Sapphire Nicole Howell, shared the awkward way her family learned about her profession:
“I don’t know how [my mum] found out, probably other family members.
“So I think that set my aunt off and I think she was the one that maybe exposed everything, I’m not sure. But yeah, they found out quick.”
“I talk to my mom almost every day,” the 27-year-old explained.
Elsa added: “If I’m doing something I think she would like I’d definitely tell her, but I keep [my job] very separate.
“She’s never asked or brought it up. It’s never been a conversation with my family about my job.”
She also shared an embarrassing moment related to her personal life.
“‘It’s okay, everything’s okay, I’m not upset or anything’, I was mortified that she knew I had sex so I can’t imagine talking to her about me shooting porn.”
According to Naija News, Elsa’s net worth could be anywhere from $1.5 million to $5.5 million.
Bonnie Blue has claimed to make $200,000 a month, while Belle Delphine has made over $6 million from a single viral video.
