Most people around the world consume animal meat, so it’s not unusual that some would be curious about what human meat tastes like.
In most scenarios, discovering the taste of human meat is, fortunately, strictly illegal, though there are a few exceptions to this rule.
For example, if someone requires an amputation due to reasons not related to infection, they might be given the option to keep their amputated limb.
Since this limb remains technically their property, they are free to do almost anything they wish with it.

You might be guessing what’s coming next.
A Reddit user known as IncrediblyShinyShart participated in an “Ask Me Anything” session.
During this session, he revealed that after his foot was amputated, he chose to keep it instead of letting the doctor throw it away.
He then prepared an extraordinary meal for himself and several of his friends.
The highlight of the meal?
Tacos filled with meat from his own foot.
“I taste like buffalo, but chewier. Super beefy and little fat,” he described, in response to a flurry of questions from amazed Redditors who continued to extract further details from him.
While it may be surprising, ISS acknowledged that his friends were actually willing to partake in eating his human meat, although not everyone was completely on board with the idea.

“I had one person back out, and it’s totally understandable,” he confessed.
“There was a lot of ‘wait really’. Kind of hoping that I’m joking. But it was all happy people who showed up that day, lots of dark jokes.”
The bizarre venture originated from a macabre curiosity shared between him and his friends.
“My friends and I always had this joke, ‘If you could try human flesh in an ethical and healthy way, would you?'” ISS recalled.
“We always said of course. Well, the opportunity came up and I called them on it.”
His foot needed to be amputated following a motorcycle accident which caused him to lose all sensation in the foot, making it completely nonfunctional.
During an interview with Vice, he elaborated on his initial intentions for the amputated limb.

“Originally I wanted to have it taxidermied or freeze-dried,” he explained, adding that ultimately, those options were not feasible.
He then described the culinary process in more detail: “[The chef] marinated it overnight and sauteed it with onions, peppers, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
“Then he served it on corn tortillas with a tomatillo sauce.”
This creation, ingeniously prepared by the unnamed chef, was humorously dubbed ‘Human Shin Fajitas.’
Quite the intriguing choice, don’t you think? Yum…
